Red candles are lit on a black candelabra. 2 red candle jars are lit as well and a skull mount candle holder also has a bleed black candle lit. Glass with cocktail sits in front with black and red cocktail mixed giving it the "fire face" look of the demon from the movie Insidious by James Wan. A strawberry is used to garnish and a black straw.

Fire Face Margarita | Insidious Themed Cocktail

Drink responsibly. This recipe contains alcohol and is for people that are 21 years of age or older. This drink does have an open flame so be sure not to leave the fire on for too long or drink when the glass is too hot. Always be careful when lighting any drink on fire or just don’t do it. Please be careful when using activated charcoal as it decreases how much your body absorbs and can reduce the effectiveness of medication.

  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 oz Triple Sec
  • 1 1/2 oz Mezcal
  • 2 oz Pomegranate Juice
  • 1 1/2 oz Tequila Blanco
  • Activated charcoal
  • Frozen Strawberries
  • Ice


Step 1

In a blender, add strawberries, lime juice, triple sec, and mezcal. Blend away! Pour into a glass.

Step 2

Clean blender or use a second blender and add ice, pomegranate juice, activated charcoal, tequila Blanco. Blend again!

Step 3

Pour both mixes into a glass and layer as desired for “fire face demon” effect. Garnish. Enjoy!
